INTERVIEW WITH GRANDFATHER

As you lived the war in your childhood ?

I was born in 1942 and was just begun the Second World War . I just have no real memories of that time because I was too small.

Where have you lived?

I lived in S. Dalmazio, seize, in a house in a rural courtyard. my house was big enough and I lived with my parents and my two brothers , Angelo and Elvira.

Si, non mi posso lamentare per le necessità e le possibilità di allora.

Quali erano i tuoi giochi e a cosa giocavi?

I only ever played football with my friends. Sometimes we went to the oratory the morning and return in the evening. I liked a lot.

Until you go to school?

I finished elementary school and only after several years when I was over forty, I attended the mid evening.

When did you start working?

I started 15 years as an apprentice in a large furniture factory in Barlassina.

As you worked there?

I worked in the furniture factory for two years.

Then what did you do?

Ho seguito la mia passione per il calcio e sono entrato a giocare nelle giovanili   del Milan,         delle quali ho fatto parte per 5 anni.

Al termine dell’esperienza nelle giovanili del Milan dove sei andato?

Sono diventato un calciatore professionista e sono andato a   giocare   nella     Reggina in serie C.

In che altre squadre hai giocato?

Ho giocato nella Rizzola, nel Nocerina, nella Spezia, nell’ Anconitana,   nell’Empoli, nella Pistoiese, nella Salernitana, nel Fano, nella Pergolese, nella         Metaurese, and in Matelica in Bovisio. On this team, I participated in tournaments Series C, D and Amateurs. For work, I traveled a lot and I was often away from home.

How long have you played football?

I played until the age of 35 years

after your football career did you do?

I worked in a textile factory in Rovellasca and then I was hired to College Archbishop in Saronno with various tasks. Still working there while having almost 67 years.

When you get married or ?

I got married in 1969 Maria Theresa.

Where was the first meeting?

We met for the first time at a band concert in Rovellasca. We have been engaged for seven years.

How many children do you have?

We had three children: Simon (1970), Claudio (1974) and Sabrina (1977).

Where have you lived?

We always lived in a house big enough to grasp in via Alessandro Volta, except for a period in which we were Fano, for my work.

What are your hobbies?

I love football and I have cycling. As soon as I can go cycling or running. In the last period I also am fond of reading novels of all types.
